✨ Exciting News ✨
I’m honored to share that I’ve accepted the position of McCook Creative District Coordinator beginning this month.
This new role feels like a natural extension of what I’ve been building with McCook News Now — telling our community’s stories, highlighting local talent, and making sure people feel connected to the place we call home. As coordinator, I’ll be working to support arts, culture, and creative opportunities in McCook, while continuing to report on the decisions and conversations that shape our future.
💡 What this means for McCook News Now:
Civic coverage will remain my top priority — city council, school board, commissioners, and other public meetings will continue to be covered with the same focus and consistency.
I’ll also be able to share even more stories about our local creative community, from musicians and artists to makers and storytellers.
This combination strengthens both efforts: a thriving creative district depends on an informed, engaged community, and informed civic life is enriched by a strong creative culture.
Thank you to everyone who has encouraged and supported me through this journey. I’m excited to keep serving McCook in new and meaningful ways — and I can’t wait to see what we’ll create together.
