City Council Update – Public Spaces & Camping Ordinance
McCook Neb. — At Monday night’s City Council meeting, council approved a new ordinance updating the City’s rules for camping, sleeping, and use of public spaces. The ordinance passed on second reading and has been under discussion since the temporary closure of Karrer Park in July 2025. It was not created in response to any single individual.
