Targeted Enforcement Nets Multiple Arrests

McCOOK, Neb. -The McCook Police Department has concluded a focused enforcement period between March 26, 2025, and May 21, 2025, leading to numerous arrests for drug-related offenses and outstanding warrants. The concentrated effort aimed at addressing criminal activity within McCook and the surrounding areas.

Among those arrested during this initiative were individuals facing serious charges related to controlled substances, weapons offenses, and outstanding warrants from various counties.

Notable arrests and charges include:

March 26, 2025: William Joseph Haag, II, 38, of Danbury, NE, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine and Possession of Marijuana Less than 1 Ounce.

April 24, 2025: Matthew Lakota Hawk McBride, 27, of Trenton, NE, faces multiple felony charges including Possession of a Deadly Weapon by a Prohibited Person, Use of a Deadly Weapon While Committing a Felony, Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance, Possession of Methamphetamine (28-139 grams), and No Drug Tax Stamp.

April 28, 2025: Gage Tate Petersen, 22, of Trenton, NE, was apprehended on a Hitchcock County Warrant for Theft by Unlawful Taking and Criminal Mischief.

April 29, 2025: Edward Wayne Rockenfield, 49, of McCook, NE, was arrested for Driving Under Suspension, Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Schedule 4/5, and Tampering with Physical Evidence.

May 1, 2025: Zackary James Ryan, 20, of Indianola, NE, was taken into custody for Driving Under Revocation, Minor in Possession of Alcohol, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

May 4, 2025: Brittney Shea Stuck, 32, of McCook, NE, was arrested on a Red Willow County Warrant for Driving Under Suspension.

May 4, 2025: David Allan Wade, 38, of Oberlin, KS, was arrested on a Kansas Parole Violation related to Distribute/Possess with Intent Heroin or Methamphetamine, Aggravated Assault, and Possession of Opiates, Opium, Narcotic drugs. Additional charges include Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance – Opiates, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Obstructing a Police Officer, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

May 12, 2025: Richard Junior Bachman, JR, 43, of Oberlin, KS, was arrested on a Keith County Warrant for Conspiracy to Commit a Class IV Felony, Theft by Unlawful Taking, and 2nd Degree Forgery.

May 13, 2025: Zachary Paul Shepherd, 45, of McCook, NE, was taken into custody on Red Willow County Warrants for Sex Offender Registration Act Violation and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

May 13, 2025: Bradley Allen Hoffmann, 32, of McCook, NE, faces charges including No Valid Registration, No Proof of Insurance, Driving Under Suspension, Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Possession of a Deadly Weapon while Committing a Felony, and Possession of a Deadly Weapon by a Prohibited Person.

May 15, 2025: Jennifer Nicole Nelson, 30, of McCook, NE, was arrested on a Furnas County Warrant for Attempt of a Class IV Felony.

*lMay 15, 2025: Jordan Anthony Greear, 24, of McCook, NE, was charged with Driving Under Suspension, Possession of Marijuana 1 oz or less, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

May 21, 2025: Danielle Rae Hilker, 31, of Cambridge, NE, was arrested on a Furnas County Warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance and a Lancaster County Warrant for Shoplifting.
