McCOOK, Neb. — The McCook Board of Education will hold its regular monthly meeting Monday, Aug. 11, at 6 p.m. in the Junior High Conference Room, 700 W. 7th Street. The meeting begins with public comment.
The consent agenda includes minutes, financial reports, and July payroll and expenditures. Board members will also review reports from administrators and committees, including updates from all school levels and special education.
Superintendent Grant Norgaard will share the start-of-school schedule, outline school improvement goals for the year, and note the district’s recent recognition as the McCook Chamber of Commerce Honor Business for the second quarter.
Other items include a planned review of career and technical education instructional materials, the Business Manager’s report on meal counts, revenues, facilities, and upcoming audits, and several new business items — accepting a $1,015 donation from The Coppermill for the NORE group, approving an option enrollment resolution, and authorizing the superintendent or designee to sign required state and federal documents.
The meeting is open to the public.
