MCC Hosting Fall Job Fair

McCOOK Neb. — McCook Community College is hosting a fall job fair for employers and those looking for work. This is for members of the public as well as college and high school students. It is set for Aug 27 on campus from 10 a.m.-noon north of von Riesen Library on the MCC campus.

This free job fair is open to businesses and organizations who want to set up on campus as well as any member of the public who wants to attend and may be looking for full-time or part-time employment opportunities.

Nearly 30 employers were at last spring’s job fair and most have committed to this fall event including businesses and organizations representing government, healthcare, manufacturing, education, agriculture, aerospace, environmental, construction, food and beverage, wholesale and non-profit organizations.

There is still time to sign up for employers who’d like to be part of this event, but registration is required. For more information, contact Mid-Plains Community College Career Services at 308-345-8128, or 308-535-3619 or email Dillon Hargrove at hargroved@mpcc.edu

In addition to recruiting new employees, this event set up on MCC’s central walkway gives attendees a chance to meet with organizations and businesses about their operations and services.
