$500,000 Pledge Announced
The McCook Community Foundation Fund pledged $500,000 to the Gerald L. Walters Youth Sports Complex.
City Manager Nate Schneider said the pledge brings fundraising and grant support to around $3 million.
Foundation members attending the meeting were recognized by the mayor.
North Pointe Housing Project
The council and the Community Development Agency (CDA) advanced the next phase of the North Pointe residential development, approving:
Preliminary plat for the Second North Pointe Addition
11 new residential lots
Wider lots based on buyer feedback
Drainage/stormwater area included
Second substantial modification to the North Pointe Redevelopment Plan
Allows remaining TIF capacity from Phase 2 to carry into Phase 3
